The Cave of Birds is back! While I was in the hospital for knee surgery, my hosting company took my site offline with no warning. I didn't discover this fact until mid-July. I've found a new host and redesigned parts of the site. Thank you for all of those who missed me. ;)

Hunters of Dune will be released on August 22, 2006. Sandworms of Dune will likely follow next year.

The Dragon in the Sea was republished for a special series featured in the Science Fiction Book Club, but it is again to be re-released along with The White Plague, Hellstrom's Hive, and Whipping Star, joining The Green Brain, The Santaroga Barrier, The Eyes of Heisenberg, and The Dosadi Experience in the ranks of Frank Herbert books reprinted by Tor.*

The Extended Edition DVD of David Lynch's 1984 film has been released. This edition has documentaries on the SFX, design, and stories from the set, original behind the scenes media, deleted scenes and alternate ending.

Dune/Children of Dune mini-series props on sale at The Prop Store of London. Items include Halleck's knife, Alia's ring, Leto's skull, a fully functional thumper, and costumes including Paul's stillsuit.
